Advalight ADVATx was initiated by the interest of one of the world’s most famous laser specialists, Dr. Peter Bjerring. The low-maintenance and low-maintenance modern laser unit he was looking for was created by PhD students at the Danish Technical University (DTU).

Dual wavelength sensor and aesthetic dermatology laser
The completed laser is currently the world's only 589nm and 1319nm solid-state laser. It provides solutions for an exceptionally wide range of indications. Operating principle - redefining the Gold Standard in the field of laser facial treatment technologies
ADVATx™ is the world's only dual-wavelength solid-state medical laser that emits 589 nm and 1319 nm wavelengths. This is possible using the patented PulSync pulse synchronization technology, which is the system's own.


Initially, two separate laser systems (1064 nm and 1319 nm) generate laser beams of different wavelengths. PulSync then synchronizes (mixes) both wavelength laser beams before passing the resulting synchronized beam through a non-linear crystal that converts the beam into a single pure yellow wavelength beam of 589 nm. The 1389 nm wavelength can also be used alone. In addition, the first clinical studies (see MD, M., Wilson RN, BSN, CCRP, A. and Mordon PhD, S., 2019. Treatment Of Acne Scarring With A Novel Dual-Wavelength Laser.) demonstrated the synergistic benefits of using the two wavelengths effect, especially for acne, scars and skin rejuvenation treatments. PulSync creates a continuous beam consisting of many short pulses. For example, a full pulse of 20 ms contains 240 short pulses. The pause between pulses allows heat to dissipate, allowing for a gradual rise in temperature of the target structure, preserving the integrity of the surrounding tissue and without causing purpura.


Compared to single-pulse lasers, the therapeutic window is increased, which explains why the use of a cooling system is not mandatory. Although the ADVATx is one of the most sophisticated dermatological lasers in the world, it has also been designed to be extremely easy to use. The manufacturer has developed a user interface that is easy and intuitive for all users.
